Intertextuality in the English Translations of San Guo Yan Yi

This volume examines the intertextual relations between a variety of English translations of San Guo Yan Yi. The author discovers that excerpted translations are adapted to many genres to fit the translators’ own narrations and that the original text, translated texts, and other related English works, are interconnected in one network.
