Politics and Gender in Ireland

The book discusses how women in Ireland and Northern Ireland negotiate their civic and political claims today. Using the concept of political agency, it highlights women’s challenge to the masculinist bias in political culture and practices on the island of Ireland. This book was published as a special issue of Irish Political Studies.
