Portrait of a Greek Imagination

Part biography and part ethnography, this study aims to contextualize the life of Nenedakis, who endured persecution, exile, imprisonment and torture. It examines the Greek author's novels and recollections as historical accounts, and shows how different perspectives shape the historical record.
